NO HOLDS Barre-d

What: If you’re looking for a fun new way to get lean, toned and strengthened, head to the new Barre Physique studio for a workout that mixes exercise disciplines to give you an intense total body challenge.

When: Classes are offered Mon-Sat. Check the website for specific classes and times.
How: Each class is $20.
Why: In addition to the workout, the intimate studio setting ensures every muscle will get the attention it deserves.
   
A FINE lime

What: When you think of Mexican food, you don’t usually think of healthy eating, but the new Lime Café wants to change that by serving up fresh, organic takes on traditional fare like burritos, tacos and tostadas.

What: At Skin Haven Spa, you can get all your “therapy” in one place – in addition to non-toxic nail services, detox wraps and Ayurvedic massages, the 1-stop wellness shop now offers appointments with a chiropractor, a psychotherapist, and soon, a hypnotherapist.

Why: Being “in treatment” will actually feel like a treat.
   
STAY still

What: We practice yoga to de-stress, so who needs the added pressure of deciding which style’s best for them? The eco-friendly studio Still Yoga offers a one-style-fits-all approach. It’s the only East Side spot specializing in Anusara yoga, a modern form focused on openness, positivity and general alignment.

How: A single class is $16, but they have packages for frequent posers.
Why: The yoga is challenging, the floor is bamboo and the mood is playful.
